Key features of the development included:
- Construction of three vehicle showrooms showcasing Alpine, Dacia, Nissan and Renault brands.
- Delivery of a 16-bay workshop for servicing and MOT testing of vehicles.
- Development of a multi-level facility, including:
- Ground floor workshops and showrooms
- Mezzanine showroom with vehicle lift access
- Ancillary offices and welfare facilities across three floors
- Construction of supporting infrastructure, including:

- Integration of digital tools such as Procore and SmartWaste for project and sustainability management.

The project presented a number of technical and logistical challenges:
- Working within a confined site footprint, requiring precise logistics and traffic management.
- Managing uncharted underground services, treated as live until proven otherwise.
- Coordinating complex construction activities including steel frame erection, cladding and lifting operations.
- Delivering a high-specification commercial facility while meeting stringent BREEAM targets.
- Managing risks associated with incoming utilities (power and water) and programme dependencies.
A proactive and technology-driven approach ensured successful delivery:
- Early identification of key trade packages to enable value engineering and cost optimisation.
- Implementation of a detailed procurement strategy, aligned with programme milestones.
- Use of digital management tools to improve coordination, communication and sustainability tracking.
- Careful planning of site logistics and lifting operations to ensure safe and efficient construction.
- Close monitoring and mitigation of infrastructure risks, particularly utility connections.
- Adoption of a district heating system, linking the development with adjacent facilities.
“The team are fantastic on site. Ben, Callum, Tony , nothing is too much trouble, they all get it done, no problems.”
